Cover Crush: Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston

Cover Crush: Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston

Heart of Iron by Ashley Poston was an immediate pre-order for me as soon as I saw the damn cover reveal (ps. exclusive content can be found on that link…check it!)! This cover is everything! I absolutely love sci-fi and this space adventure seems like exactly what I need in my life! Plus, Ashley’s first novel Geekerella was one the best books I read this year!  Space pirates – check! Lovable droid – check! Girl and boy originally pitted against each other, but then must work together to save their own lives – check! I am all in for this one! The only thing I can find an issue with here is that we all have to wait until February 13th, 2018 to get our hands on this beauty – so be prepared and add it to your TBR now!

Category: Young Adult, Sci-fi
Publication: February 13th, 2018; Balzer + Bray
Purchase: Amazon

Ana is a scoundrel by nurture and an outlaw by nature. Found as a child drifting through space with a sentient android called D09, Ana was saved by a fearsome space captain and the grizzled crew she now calls family. But D09 — one of the last remaining illegal Metals — has been glitching, and Ana will stop at nothing to find a way to fix him.

Ana’s desperate effort to save D09 leads her on a quest to steal the coordinates to a lost ship that could offer all the answers. But at the last moment, a spoiled Ironblood boy beats Ana to her prize. He has his own reasons for taking the coordinates, and he doesn’t care what he’ll sacrifice to keep them.

When everything goes wrong, she and the Ironblood end up as fugitives on the run. Now their entire kingdom is after them — and the coordinates — and not everyone wants them captured alive.
